Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Participant or Group from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

2. In these Terms & Conditions of Entry, these meanings apply unless the contrary intention appears:

"Code" means the series of Matches conducted by the sporting governing body between member teams of that competition over the Season; or
"Group" means a group of 2 or more Participants who have entered the Promotion under a collective registration and who may, by using the tipping results of those Participants, conduct a separate non-commercial competition, the winner or winners of which may be eligible for prizes offered by the Group's Manager or other provider and which do not form part of the prizes offered by the Promoter in this Promotion;
"Match" means a single game, of and conducted by the Code, between member teams;
"Participant" means a person who is eligible to participate in the Promotion;
"Results" are the results of Matches as officially determined in accordance with the rules following the completion of a Round;
"Round" means a round conducted during that Season;
"Season" means the current season;
"Score" means the allocation of points to a Participant for the correct selection of winning teams;
"Web Site" means the Web Site of the Promoter at: www.leagueunlimited.com, mytips.com.au and www.tippingunlimited.com accessible on the Internet through the World Wide Web.

3. The Promotion is open to permanent residents of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Entry into the Promotion is free. By providing the tipping comp to Participants, the Web Site, Provider and Promoter are in no way entering into a legal contract with any Participant.

4. Registrations open prior to the start of the relevant seasons of competition. All competitions are subject to a Match closure according to that competition.
5. To enter the Promotion, a Participant must:
a) Register their details via the on-line registration form located on the Web Site; and
b) For each Round of Season, make a selection of a team the Participant tips to win or draw and submit that entry via the Web Site in the manner and within the time frames set out on the Web Site.

6. If a Participant:
a) Does not submit an entry for a given Match in a Round, then the Participant's tip for that Match will be deemed to be for that of the team determined to be the "away team"; or
b) Does not submit an entry into the Promotion for a given Round, the Participant's tips for that Round will be deemed to be those of the teams determined to be the "away teams"; or
c) Enters the Promotion after the commencement of the first Round of the Season, then the Participant's tips for those Rounds that have been completed will be deemed to be those of the teams determined to be the "away teams".

7. A Participant may make or change a tip for a given Match in a Round at any time before the start of the game.

8. Deadline for registrations - final registrations must be received by 19:30 AEST on 30 April of the year of the tipping competition. Registrations received after this time will not be accepted.

9. Deadline for tips - final tips must be received before the start of the game. Participants are advised to check fixture times. The Promoter and Provider will not be held responsible for fixtures times which are altered by any Code or respective venues. Tips received after the start of the game will not be accepted.

10. Tips will not be accepted other than via the tipping competition website. Email tips or any other method of submission will not be accepted

11. The Promoter and Provider will not be held responsible for server, ISP or any internet congestion problems resulting in tips not being received.

12. Changing of tips - Participants are able to alter their tips at any time up until the deadline for each Match.

13. Time Stamping of tips - All finalised round entries are date and time stamped (to the second) and any altered tips are adjusted accordingly.

14. In the event of a Match in a given Round being drawn, cancelled, abandoned, not completed or not played for any reason and/or does not officially declare a Result within three (3) days of the date the Match was originally schedule to be played, it is treated as a draw for both teams competing in that Match.

15. Participants will be allocated points for their tips as outlined below:
Correct tip - two (2) points towards their Score
Incorrect tip - zero (0) points towards their Score
Draw (not tipped) - zero (0) point towards their Score
Draw (tipped) - two (2) points towards their Score
Tipping the round - one (1) bonus point towards their Score

Participants will be ranked firstly by their Score, where the highest Score is the highest rank. In the event that two or more Participants are equal on points, the winning Participant shall be determined by who submitted their final tips in first (as per clause 13).

16. Weekly place winners, if applicable, will be determined by the Participant's Score for that Round. Where Participants have identical Scores, the Participant who submitted their final tips in first will be deemed the weekly winner. (as per clause 13)

17. The ranking of end of season place winners will be determined firstly by their total Score for all Rounds (not including the finals). Where Participants have identical Scores, the Participant who submitted their final tips in first will be deemed the Winner for the Season (as per clause 13).

18. End of season place winners will be determined by 12:00 AEST Tuesday following the final round of the relevant competition (not including the finals) at LeagueUnlimited, PO Box 538 Labrador QLD 4215.

19. Weekly Winners, if applicable, will be determined at 12:00 AEST each Tuesday throughout the season at LeagueUnlimited, PO Box 538 Labrador QLD 4215.

20. The Major Prize winner will be determined by 12:00 AEST Tuesday following the final round of the NRL (not including the finals) and by 12:00 AEST Tuesday following the final round of the AFL (not including the finals) at LeagueUnlimited, PO Box 538 Labrador QLD 4215.

21. Prizes are to be as set out on the Web Site. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for variations in prize values.

Weekly Prizes, if applicable - the Weekly Winners will receive merchandise as detemined by the Promoters and the Web Site.

Major End of Season Prize - Major Prize Winner will receive merchandise as determined by the sponsor.

22. Weekly winners, if applicable, will be contacted via email and/or details will be published on the Web Site on the Wednesday following each round.

23. If the winner is under 18 years old, the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable without the consent of the Promoter and cannot be taken as cash. If the Promoter is unable to provide any winner with a nominated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value subject to state regulation.

24. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion are not liable and do not accept responsibility for:
a) a Participant's tips that are not received or which are received and subsequently corrupted or rejected by the Web Site server, whether submitted by the Participant or by an administrator if in respect of a Group participation. This explicitly includes any private or public tipping competition which uses in any way or solely rely on the Web Site as a means for collection and disbursement of data to their participants;
b) Any lost, misdirected or corrupt emails to or from the Web Site;
c) Any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
(i) in connection with a Participants participation in the Promotion or the taking of a place, except that which cannot be excluded by law; and/or
(ii) relating to the conduct of the Promotion however caused, including failure of the Web Site or incorrect or corrupt data supplied by the Promoter to Participant.

25. Disputes over tips will only be entered into prior to marking of the next round.

26. Information about Participants is used by the Promoter to assess and process registration in the Promotion. If an applicant does not provide the required information, the Promoter cannot process the registration. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. Information emanating from the Participant's participation in the Promotion is used by the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion for the determination of winners and distribution of prizes, if any, awarded to a Participant. Participants consent to publishing their name and accumulated winning team points in the results section of the Web Site and for their personal information to be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments, as required under the relevant lottery legislation. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any loss of reputation, status or otherwise in connection with a Participant's tipping selections and consequential results. It is a condition of entry that Participants consent to these uses and disclosures of their information. Information about Participants may also be used by the Promoter, its agents, contractors and related companies, for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and direct mail and promotional campaigns, in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement available at http://www.leagueunlimited.com/privacy.php unless a Participant otherwise withdraws their consent to the use of their information in this manner.

27. Notwithstanding the Promoter's rights under condition 6 to not accept or to subsequently disqualify a Participant or Group, the Promoter will not be liable for any legal action arising out of any Group name being slanderous, defamatory or inappropriate or any similarly sounding or related group and any Participant who uses a Group name which is subsequently found to be slanderous, defamatory or inappropriate will indemnify the Promoter, its agents, contractors and related companies from any legal action, claim or dispute arising in relation thereto.

28. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

29. The Promoter shall not be liable for any manufacturer defects in prizes or for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

30. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit, or for any delay in delivery of prizes.

31. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion. To facilitate your participation, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to other companies associated with this promotion. If you do not provide your personal information, the Promoter will not be able to enter you into this promotion.

32. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

32. The Tipping Competition is being provided for League Unlimited, My Tips and Tipping Unlimited by LeagueUnlimited, PO Box 538 Labrador QLD 4215
